Welcome to Gratitude Sunday
I am so excited to host this new linky party!
Back in November I did '30 days of Gratitude' and found that it changed me! I took some long looks at things that I'm so grateful for; family, friends, pets, home, etc. I also had some fun 'grateful' moments. During Dec I realized I missed those posts and decided I would launch this party in January.
Two kinds of gratitude: The sudden kind we feel for what we take; the larger kind we feel for what we give. ~Edwin Arlington Robinson
My friend Sandie has shared with me that she keeps a gratitude journal and that is has changed her life. I know a journal isn't for me but I'm hoping that by doing this I can continue to view the blessings in my life and be grateful!
Gratitude is the music of the heart, when its chords are swept by the breeze of kindness. ~Author Unknown
I am inviting all of you to join me in this journey!
Your posts can be long, short, serious, funny and anything in between!
Today I am so thankful for all of you!
Let the Gratitude Begin!
Linda

Good luck on the new linky party, I think once a month is perfect, we can all recap. Happy to join the inaugural post. xo
What a good idea - I'll do my best to join in when I can.
Hi / I saw this on the Saturday Party at Claudia's so while I thought it was a wonderful idea I did not have time to compose a specific post called Gratitude or anything ( But I am not sure if we have to do that or not :) so I will just join with something that's made me happy and grateful over the last week or so and I hope that works for now :)
Yay, the party has launched! I'm very excited to join in! And thanks to you for hostessing! Mary
During particularly difficult times in life, I find that it helps for me to end ever day by being thankful for something. Some days it was something really small (because things were really bad) but being thankful focused my mind on positive things ... instead of the negative that I was living. Things are much better now, but I still say my thankful prayer every night. Tonight I am thankful for my husband, and his offer of Chinese take-out, at the end of a very long, very tiring day.
Your post today couldn't have come at a better time. BTW, I'm very grateful to have you has a "Sister!" XOXO
I am so happy that you've started this party, Linda! It's a wonderful idea for all year long and helps us focus on what we are grateful for. Friendship is a blessing! Sweet hugs, Diane
Hi Linda, taking time to remember the things we are grateful for in life is so very improtant! Thanks for this party. Wishing you the best of success!

Happy New Year, Linda! Oh, what a wonderful party and we all do have so much to be thankful for! Looking forward to another year of blogging with you!
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
A very nice response for your first linky week! May it grow and grow!
a while back i kept a thankful journal, it was when oprah was doing it, and you were supposed to write 5 things you were thankful for that day. since that's sort of a lot, it really helped you focus on the little things (like catching all green lights, or a great clearance find) that we sometimes overlook. i look forward to seeing your weekly posts and participating. yay!
Love, love this idea! An attitude of gratitude is so joyful...
I'll have to remember to join up! I actually just posted about gratitude on New Year's Day...
Huggies!
Spencer

Hi Linda, thank you for starting your Gratitude Party. I went back a month to choose a gratitude post. I will be writing again about gratitude as the year rolls on and will be back to join in again.
