It has been a hard week as most of you who read my blog know. After last weeks gratitude post we learned that Mr. Toes injuries were more severe then we knew and he had surgery. It has been touch and go for a week and he is not out of the woods yet, but he is so much better!
Today I am so grateful for the wonderful Doctors and Staff of Douglasville Veterinary Hospital!
From the moment we took Toesie in a week ago through today the staff has been incredible!
Dr Michelle Haynes was the first one to see him and hee compassion and care has not ceased! She has called us and stops to see us every time we are there to see Mr. Toes!
Dr Marjorie Porter did Toesies surgery and saved his life. Both Dr's have been kind and caring and completely available to us during this time.
From the sweet ladies that greet us when we walk in the door to all the techs who are taking care of our baby, we do not think we could have found better care! I am so grateful for these wonderful caring and loving professionals.
Toesie is one of our furry children and we feel like we owe him this chance to recover and he could not do this without Douglasville Veterinary Hospital!
What are you Grateful for this week?
Wishing You JOY,
Linda

These ladies are HEROES, as is the rest of the staff looking after Mr. Toes...I'm so happy to hear he's improving. {{hugs}} all around!
I know that you are so happy that Mr. Toes is on the mend. It is hard when our fur babies are sick and they can;t tell us how they feel or they don't understand what is best for them!

How wonderful that Mr. Toes has received such excellent care!
Hugs,
Nellie
Isn't it wonderful to have so much faith in your vet. It means so much to know that you can trust that the care will be the best. Hope he's home soon, Linda. He must be getting tired of being at the clinic. Hugs, Deb
Looking at those compassionate faces I know Mr. Toes will be home in no time Linda! Today I am grateful for the prayers of many. I feel the strength behind them and it helps to keep me moving forward when there are moments when I just don't think I can.
Looks like Mr. toes has some expert care. They look like caring and loving vets. Thank goodness for them.

I'm so glad Mr. Toes is getting the care he needs from compassionate and knowledgeable professionals and hope he will be home soon.
I am grateful for the gift of shared laughter this week; it is always healing and strengthening.
Oh Linda, I agree that your doctors are terrific.
The ones I have for Honey Cat are also very, very kind and professional.
I really thought we were going to lose her a couple weeks ago, remember? But she's rallying, as I know Mr. Toes will, too.
Hope you have a good Sunday and that your little kitty will be home soon. Susan
I'm grateful too that Mr. Toes is continuing to improve--I still can't believe we live in a world where someone would shoot a pet; it makes me very sad.
We continue to keep him in our prayers and hope it will be back into your arms next week. XOXO
Wonderful when you have good doctors caring for a loved one. Continued prayers for sweet Toesie, please keep us posted. And thanks for hostessing the links.

Oh my, I have fallen behind on reading your blog and look what happens. Yikes, I can't believe some jerk would do such a horrid thing. I'll be praying to Mr. Toes and for you all. Thanks for taking such good care of him, I'm glad he'll be inside now!
So thankful for the kind, caring professionals that help us with our pets. Glad Mr. Toes is doing better.
Grateful that my brother-in-law is still here! Grateful that Nick ran well and made it back safely to his college! I hope Mr. Toes recovers nicely. He has had such a difficult time hasn't he? I am happy and grateful he had such good care. Hugs Anne
I am so happy to hear that Mr Toes is making good progress. Thinking of you all and sending healing thoughts to Mr Toes. xx
That's so sweet of you to publicly thank the people who are doing their best to save Mr. Toes. I'm sure they appreciate it!
I love reading about dedicated people like this. We rely on them. I hope he continues to improve! Hugs!
I'm glad the boy is on the mend. Do you have any idea who did this and did you report it to the police? I always think that if you're capable of harming animals, you're capable of much worse.
But this is gratitude Sunday and you're right to focus on the wonderful caregivers at the vet clinic.
I hope Mr. Toes goes home really soon.
Nicole

Linda, I'm am so enjoying your Gratitude Sundays! It is good to think about being grateful for something each week! Im so sorry to hear about your kitty. My hubby's best friend in Illinois is a vet....they are great people!
I hope to visit some more of your blogger this week who have left their links. It's really fun to meet new blogger.

Linda
Linda, even I am grateful, two these two wonderful women! Still keep you all in my thoughts and prayers. Thank you for hosting!
Happy to hear of Mr. Toes' improvement. I don't have cats of my own, but I have a cat-loving friend. I keep my eyes open for cat-related gifts to surprise her for special (and no-special) occasions...so I especially liked seeing your collection in the previous post.
Oh, no. I just got all caught up on Toesie. I'm sick to my stomach that someone would shoot a cat! So glad he's feeling better now though. It sounds like he's been getting wonderful care.
BOO.............I haven't been in touch in a coons age. Anne just reminded us of our fun swap of a few years ago. So happy to visit you again but so sad about Mister Toes. Hope he recovers well. X)X)Mollye
